First Sunday of March is looming, 5th this year; as always marshals are required and all help is appreciated. It is these events that allow our club to operate at almost zero cost (for the second year running) to its members.
It is an earlier meet of 0830 at the school as the race starts at 1000. Fez is coordinating marshals and will be trying to allocate points to people with instructions ahead of the day but please turn up promptly to the school. We’re undergoing a few changes to the race this year so more people around the better.

Is at Thornhurst Manor on Friday 27th (last Friday of January). 1900 for 1930 start.
If you have /not/ already given Uncle Mick your names/numbers then you need to do so by end of next week as we have to advise place of numbers.
If you’re struggling to see Uncle Mick, then let me know but I won’t be at club much next couple of weeks so its better to tell him direct.
Race full! (There’s actually two entries left but they’ll be gone a in a few minutes). Sorry if you’ve missed out but BookItZone do operate a waiting list so it may be worth a try. In the next couple of days everyone will receive an email for race day instructions and a copy of the number allocations. Remember start time is 1000 this year and HQ open from 0830.
UPDATE: Forgot to mention there will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY and race limit is set at 600. For the past 8 years we’ve had about 510 finishers so the limit of 600 should not be an issue.

As always, race is first Sunday in March which is the 5th this year – however we have pulled forward the start time by one hour to 10:00 and we have reluctantly but after careful consideration dropped the fun run.

Chip timing is new for this race (the same system we used for the Askern 10mile) but it will still be number and chip collection on the day. We will publish the number allocation ahead and have info boards available on the day to speed up collection by number blocks.

Amber needs your food order by Sunday 20th latest to submit to the restaurant. We have 65 at the meal so pre ordering is essential… Please get it to her, she can’t be chasing everyone…

For food we are going to Ye Olde Bell @ Barnby Moor. Menu and deposit info to follow but as the Xmas menu is 3 courses @ £35 the club is contributing £10 to the food too.

Update again – 30 of 30 numbers allocated. Right now there isn’t anyone formally waiting on a number but if you cannot run for any reason you can check with me if someone is waiting. If so we’ll /try/ and see if we can transfer. If not you owe the club the entry fee!
