Depends what you want from your 10K + half marathon and what you've done before. I work shifts but not all nights thankfully and I manage to run either in the afternoon or during the evening before I go on shift.

As Dan had told you, before any suggestions can be made we need to know what your current level of fitness/ training is at. with a time of 1:37 in Donny HM it would suggest that you have got a reasonable level of fitness already, but with you saying you died at 12 miles that would suggest a lack of endurance. Your time also indicates that your goal for 10K is going to require a lot of time investment in training. If you would like any further help either email me or post on here again. However in the meantime I would suggest that you need to run around 4-5 times per week and keep most of the running at an easy - steady pace and also include a long run of 1:15-1:30 each week, increasing this to 1:30-2:00 over a period of a few weeks. You need to build a firm base before introducing any speedwork. I hope this is of use to you.
