The undulating course presents the biggest challenge after about the third mile then a slog up a  seemingly endless mile & a half  hill easing off to a sweeping downhill canter after the fifth mile,  a slight incline at about mile 7 & thereafter a smooth slightly downhill & flat final 2 miles.
