2017 Norton 9 Entries are open!

Race full! (There’s actually two entries left but they’ll be gone a in a few minutes). Sorry if you’ve missed out but BookItZone do operate a waiting list so it may be worth a try. In the next couple of days everyone will receive an email for race day instructions and a copy of the number allocations. Remember start time is 1000 this year and HQ open from 0830.

UPDATE: Forgot to mention there will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY and race limit is set at 600. For the past 8 years we’ve had about 510 finishers so the limit of 600 should not be an issue.

A little later than normal but please find on-line entries available in this link: BookItZone

As always, race is first Sunday in March which is the 5th this year – however we have pulled forward the start time by one hour to 10:00 and we have reluctantly but after careful consideration dropped the fun run.

For those who prefer postal entries here is the download: 2017 Norton 9 Entry Form

Chip timing is new for this race (the same system we used for the Askern 10mile) but it will still be number and chip collection on the day. We will publish the number allocation ahead and have info boards available on the day to speed up collection by number blocks.

Look forward to seeing you.

Regards, Phil

  1. Hi Phil,
I have signed up for the Norton 9 race this year but unfortunately is clashes with onw of my clubs recently published championship races. I have someone that wants to take my place. Can you advise how I transfer the details. I’ve tried to email on the “contact” us but it won’t link. Many thanks.

    • Hi Claire, that’s a shame. We do allow transfers if you contact Info (At) BootItZone (Dot) com they can make the arrangements.

PS I did reply to your e-mail so perhaps it got blocked/spammed….

      Regards, Phil.

  2. Just a quick one. I would prefer to send the entry form with a cheque, if so, would I need to send a SAE as the numbers are to be picked up on the day?

    • If you send a SAE we will return race day instructions etc but numbers and chips are still to be collected on the day. If you don’t please check the website a few days before the race to read the race day instructions and find your number allocation.

      Regards, Phil.

  3. Can you please confirm when race numbers and info will be dispatched by post as I haven’t received anything yet. Thanks Kathryn

    • Race info has been dispatched (unless a postal entry came in the last few days) but numbers and chips are collect on the day. After entries close on Sunday we will publish on the website and email people’s number allocation and a copy of the race day info.

I’ve checked the entries and can see you’re in…

      Regards, Phil.
