Askern 10km entries are open, enter online: BookItZone
For 2022 we are running the 10km on the traditional date of the 10mile (second Sunday in August) and have developed a new route incorporating the majority of the old route, whilst avoiding the A19.
Key points:
- Sunday 14th August 2022 @ 10am
- Lower than usual 300 entry limit, closes 1 week before or when limit hit. We may choose to raise this before the race but assume for now not.
- No entries on the day
- Parking has changed, it is no longer at the Askern Miners Welfare. Clear instructions will be sent with the race day instructions via email before the race.
- Transfers at our discretion and deadline same as entries closing
- Numbers and chip will be posted, no collection – to avoid congregation.
We see this as a pilot event ahead of returning the 10km to its traditional date (third Wednesday evening in May) and higher entry limit.
