Item 1 – Summer Trip – Middlekerke Belgium
Wait until mid June and make a firm decision on the trip.
Item 2 – Askern 10 mile race
Further discussion in June.
Item 3 – Finances
As there have been no outgoings and almost no income, there is nothing new to report since AGM.
Item 4 – Memberships
Check Bank Statement in June, reminder in the main ADRC Whatsapp group and ADRC news. Phil to give Dave Collingwood a list of payees so far. Members to inform Phil when they have paid and also put your name as a reference in the transfer.
Item 5 – Charitable Status
The club charitable status had been assessed and at present there are no plans to apply.
Item 6 – Additional race in 2020
Further discussion at June meeting.
Item 7– Run Leaders/DBS
Nothing new to report on, however DBS Checks are carried out automatically by England Athletics. An application can been followed on-line, using Phil or Dave Collingwood as a reference. An email is received to be authorised to the next stage for UKA to issue. The process has been followed for a member and the DBS had been issued, so the process works.
Juniors update – Duncan looking into junior membership and intends to propose a family package at the next AGM.
Item 8 – Summer BBQ
Mark and Susie to host BBQ.
Item 9 – AOB
Monthly mile, should continue for those members who want to take part June Barnsdale Bar 5 miles, proposal a format similar to the monthly time trial, must be run on the same day 16th June 2020, and individually. Dan to look at the course and rules to be posted on social media.
