Perhaps not unexpected… With the cancellation of all UKA affiliated races now extended to the end of July it isn’t viable to host the Askern 10 mile race in August this year. Organising and confirming the necessary services and facilities with such short notice, should events resume in August, isn’t realistic and will fry the committee’s brains in the process.
We are looking forward (optimistically) to a more productive 2021 and will continue to host all three of our races with great enthusiasm:
Norton 9 (miles) – 10am Sunday 7th March
Askern 10 km – 7pm Wednesday 16th May
Askern 10 (miles) – 10.30am Sunday 8th August
