With the heaviest of hearts we are saddened to let you know Dave passed away early Monday morning, suddenly and unexpectedly.
Dave along with his brother Mick were the nucleus of the club for decades. What Dave did in the open was incredible and he did as much quietly behind the scenes not seeking recognition. On top of that his house “Colby” became an extension of the club for both social and for pretty much every trip, the primary bus stop and car park – just an example of how Dave was the heart of the club.
This post is a notice and not intended to be a summary of Dave or his club life, I feel any attempt would not do him justice – perhaps that will come over time.
He will never be forgotten.
Our collective love and thoughts go to Pauline, Lee and Paul, Mick and Lenna, Joseph, William and the extended Collingwood family who through Dave are ADRC family.
