Twas another lovely evening for the final Summer route TT, unless you run earlier than the 7pm start time and record your own finish time that is. October usually sees the TT back on the 3 lapper Winter route of Rural Norton Hamlet Village.
Well done to everyone, especially the big improvers (you know who you are).
It was great to see Bethany Hinch back at the club and smiling her way around the TT. I’m unsure if this was Bethany’s debut or not, however, very well done.
I myself set off a little earlier than the prescribed start time as advertised in the press and was really chuffed to see a few others out there, who by the way, took some catching. The 3 musketeers joined the route from Ryecroft corner and all ran really well.
A big well done to Barry too for his lap of the Winter route in 17m54s, nice one.
I notice that the size of the field has increased somewhat since the re-introduction of the Chip butties!!!!!mmmmmmmmmmmmm, no surprise there then.
Thanks to Fez and D Collo as always.
Next TT is 07/10/2021, PLEASE WEAR HI-VIS GEAR.
Many Thanks, P Collo
PS, Thanks to Mick Pearce for giving me the best laugh in ages re a Mick to Mick story and it really being Dave, even though he’s not a twin and not Dave and Dave wasn’t there, but Mick didn’t know that, Brilliant.
