On such a date, it was good to have the quote “May the forth be with you” ringing in your ears as inspiration. I’m not too sure how helpful it was, but hopefully it was slightly more welcome than the windy conditions.
It was a varied night re performances. Wardy and Sarah ran the route in reverse, with Bradders, Baronness Chrissie, Stevie G, Smithy, Kenboy and moi, all heading out prior to the top three speed masters on the night.
The biggest improver is clearly Ash, knocking a huge chunk off of his May 2022 effort. Well done yoof.
Jody ran very well too, even taking time to stop for an ickle rest!!
It was also great to see Sophie and Steve out there having recently completed their respective marathon exploits. Brilliant and well done on the 26.2m achievement.
Having slightly taken a wrong turn, clearly whilst being “in the zone”, it was fab to welcome Ken back to the course. I’m just glad he realised this minor error beforehitting Barnsdale Bar, and that it wasn’t a 3 lapper also!! Good man.
