Well well well, whatever happened. Well done to those of you that turned up on the night to run the Time Trial. Not so well done to those who sent out very confusing WhatsApp messages rendering the whole event a farce. This unfortunately meant we had people running 5.3miles, 2.9 miles and 6 miles respectively. This meant only I ran the TT route and as such take the victory with a huge amount of pride!!
So, the Summer route has not changed as yet, but may well do so, due to our “potential” move to Askern Baths. This will only happen after a discussion at a committee meeting and the agreement of a new course being met.
Until anything is discussed/decided, we will still run the same course, so its up to individuals to get themselves to the starting point on Ryecroft Road for a prompt 7pm start.
See you all next month.

Big thanks to you all for arriving at the start line in plenty of time for a 7pm shout of “On your marks, get set, Go”.
As the Ashes took centre stage for many on the sporting calendar, the real “TEST” was surely unfolding aroundthe DN6 and WF postcodes. The evening itself wasrather warm, but a great night for a trot.
I believe it was a debut running of this course for Ionut and he certainly looked to have had a good go at it, waving and conversing with the locals en-route, as well using some choice words at the finish!! A great effort and a decent marker for future outings.
Amber was thrilled to be 1st lady, very well done, just holding off Chrissie who had run the day before to post a time.
Thanks to Steve for the time keeping, having selflessly completed his TT run during the morning in order to watch the watch for us all.
Brian Watts (nearly typed watch again) ran from the leisure centre and completed a lap of the Winter TT, prior to completing a lap of the chip buttie table.
Well done everyone, hope to see you all and some others next month.
