First of all, a massive thankyou to everyone who has supported the TT throughout 2020, a very strange and un-welcome year in so many ways. I include all participants, supporters and Time Keepers and boy do I miss the chip buttie nights.
A collective well done and a virtual “thumbs up” to you runners who managed to brave the cold conditions afforded to this month’s TT.
There have at least been some positives along the way despite the restrictions in place, with some of you having continued to improve your performances.
Having looked at the results of the January 2020 TT, there were 4 athletes who competed in January 2020 and 2021, all of whom improved in 2021.
In 2020 Declan posted a 30m20s, Fez ran 38m32s, Steve Gallagher clocked a 36m52s and Nev nailed a 33m57s. There must be something they are doing right, well done chaps, keep up the good work.
2021 sees the commencement of the 14th year of the TT, a great idea of Dave Bullocks. I hope as I’m sure all of you do that some level of normality will soon return and we can all start enjoying this monthly event for what it really is, a hard workout and a relaxing catch up afterwards.
Take care all,
P Collo
